The Onondaga Nation is one of the six nations of the Haudenausaunee confederation of nations, also called Iroquois Confederation of Nations or League of Six Nations.

The six nations are:

  1. the Cayuga,
  2. the Mohawk,
  3. the Oneida,
  4. the Onondaga,
  5. the Seneca, and
  6. the Tuscaroras.
