Contributions to specificity and affinity

Oleate is bound to a lipid-binding protein. Its carbon atoms are colored yellow. Two nonpolar interactions, contributing to affinity are shown with a Val and a Phe. Hydrogen bonding is shown with a water molecule and a Tyr. This contributes to specificity.
