"My Hometown"

Instructions:

Prepare a one-page (approx. 250-300 words double-spaced) description of your "Hometown."  The questions below (and our class discussion on 29 August 2006) should provide a sufficient guide for constructing your paper.

The assignment is due at the beginning of class on 5 October 2006.  Some students will discuss their papers on the 5th, others will do so on the 7th.  Be prepared to discuss your "hometown," but do not plan on reading your paper to the class members.
