Revision of Article 9

The National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws approved a completely revised text of Article 9 at its annual meeting in July, 1998. Earlier in May of that year, the American Law Institute, the other co-sponsor of the Code, also approved the substance of the revision. A final text with official comments is scheduled to be published in November, 1998. In the meantime, the draft text and information about the revision may be found at the web sites.
