General Information

 

An international conference will be held in Hong Kong as a tribute to the distinguished statistician and global collaborative researcher, Professor N. Balakrishnan, for his 30 years of contribution to Statistics. The conference will feature research topics inspired by the substantial contributions of Professor Balakrishnan to Statistics, in areas such as distribution theory, reliability and lifetime data analysis, censoring methodology, ordered data analysis, etc. It aims to bring together researchers interested in theory as well as applications of probability and statistics to discuss recent developments and to suggest future research directions.

The conference venue is Lady Shaw Building in The Chinese University of Hong Kong (please see the Campus Map). One can take the CHUK shuttle bus (free of charge, runs every 5-15 minutes) from the University Train Station (please see the MTR System Map) and get off at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall (CUHK shuttle bus timetable).
