The make-up exam, if given, may be more difficult than the regular exam. Students who miss an exam should not communicate with anyone (except the instructor) concerning any aspect of the missed exam.

Exam Schedule:

Test 1 June 6

Words of Wisdom: You are expected to be in class, and on time.  Do not read non related material in class, e.g.,  newspapers. Turn off all electronic devices! Try not to disturb others—don’t make distracting noises such as rattling cups of ice, etc.

Honor Code: All academic work undertaken at the University shall be subject to the guidelines of the Honor Code. Any giving or receiving of aid on academic work submitted for evaluation, without the express consent of the instructor, or toleration  of such action shall constitute a breach of the Honor Code. A violation of the Code will result in an F for the course. In addition, the student may also be taken before the Honor Council.

Incompletes: The grade of Incomplete (I) is given only when a student's completed work is satisfactory in quality, but some portion of the required work (usually one exam) has not been completed due to reasons beyond the student's control.

Disability Accommodations: If you need academic accommodations for a disability, you must first contact Ms. Rebecca Marin, Coordinator, Services for Students with Disabilities (214-768-4563) to verify the disability and to establish eligibility for accommodations. Then you should schedule an appointment with the professor to make appropriate arrangements.
