AIE Conference Background:

The conference is a companion to the volume Advances in Econometrics: Modeling and Evaluating Treatment Effects in Econometrics (Volume 21, 2006) to be published by Elsevier Science.  Volume 21 is edited by Daniel Millimet (SMU), Jeffrey Smith (U Michigan), and Ed Vytlacil (Columbia U), and the Advances in Econometrics series is edited by Tom Fomby (SMU) and Carter Hill (LSU).  The purpose of the conference is to bring together authors of papers, a small and highly regarded collection of scholars, for discussion, debate and feedback.
