Next time: Write a 1-2 page analysis of any of the visual material from (or related to) Harriot’s A Briefe and True Report.  Avoid repeating what has already been said in class or simply regurgitating what you read in other sources (although you should feel free to apply such material in new and interesting ways).

 

We meet next Thursday, after fall break, at which time we will have our midterm examination (five or so quotation identifications, one essay).  In addition to reviewing in preparation for the exam, you might wisely spend some time looking ahead in anticipation of the research paper.
