Humane Society The Humane Society is much more sober than PETA.  This is an informative, well-designed site (without naked celebrities).

Animal Ethics Blog  Very useful list of links and resources.

Americans for Progress A website devoted to defending animal research.

AltWeb Informative site devoted to finding alternatives to animal research.  "Reduce, replace, refine," they say, but don't end animal experimentation.
