For a long time I was very interested in running. I ran my first race in 1974, ran for the University of Birmingham in England in the early 1980's, and also represented Hong Kong in international competition. Here is my race list.

My new sporting passion is football, or soccer as it is called in the U.S. It's a lot of fun but not easy to take up in your 40's. Here is a list of my games played.

I am married to Susan Harris, Ph.D. in Psychology from UT, Austin. We have three children; Claire, Michael,  and Fiona. Susan and I have been married since 1997. Susan is an adjunct professor in the Psychology Department at SMU.

I was born in 1963 in England, but I have lived only a total of 13 years there. I have lived in the States for 22 years now. (By now, you're wondering what happened to the missing 11 years. The answer is "Hong Kong", which is where I lived with my family from 1970 to 1981.)
