Postdoctoral
Research Associates
*** POSITIONS FILLED - NO CURRENT
OPENINGS ***
Postdoctoral
researchers with backgrounds in polymer chemistry are encouraged to inquire. Projects will employ synthesis via
controlled/living free radical polymerization methods and
various characterization techniques to
Synthesize and characterize well-defined stimuli-responsive
block copolymers (of particular interest is the effect of
macromolecular architecture on the resulting self-assembly
phenomenon in aqueous media)
Prepare
polymer-encapsulated transition metal nanoparticles for
catalytic and sensor applications
Synthesize and characterize
polymer-protein bioconjugates
Design and prepare novel
polymeric nanocontainers for delivery of pharmaceuticals or
personal care components.
Students and postdoctoral researchers with a
desire to work creatively at the interface of
polymer/organic/biochemistry are encouraged to apply.
Postdoctoral candidates should send (i) a CV, (ii) synopsis of
previous research, and (iii) the names and
contact information of three references by mail or email to:
